What do we do?
Today, more than 70% of our children are reading where it has looked impossible task for generations. At many hamlets of the nomadic Bharwad community, we find ‘below 10%’ literacy, very few children regularly going to school and almost every child dropping out before completing middle school. We are working to change this picture, with a lot passion, love and discipline.
Over 90% of our fellows are finding meaningful livelihood in a region where less than 20% of the youth with similar education are able to find a dignified job.
Our alumni together are impacting the lives of over 400 teachers/leaders and 3000 children directly, while over 9000 teachers/leaders, and 250,000 children indirectly, giving capable leadership to about 25 organisations in the region.

Why does it matter? – The Problem
Children at 43% Bharwad hamlets in Nagpur district are either not going to school or not receiving quality education. There is no model/plan of education for nomadic communities, for a 13 core population. A population so big, it would have been the 12th largest country in the world.
